Home / Blog / Honoring Craftsmanship: Pella Celebrates Its Installers at Annual Subcontractor Dinner

In May, Pella Windows and Doors hosted its annual subcontractor’s dinner at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church in Gretna. The event was dedicated to recognizing the skilled installers who bring the company’s products to life in homes across the region. While homeowners enjoy and appreciate the final results, Pella recognizes the precision and professionalism of the people whose hard work makes it possible.

Installation is where craftsmanship meets performance. Even the most advanced materials will fail without the hands-on efforts and expertise, careful handling, and precision required to ensure each component operates properly. Pella’s installers approach each project with an unmatched level of attention to detail, and without them our windows and doors couldn’t deliver the energy efficiency, durability, and long-term reliability customers expect from Pella.

The evening gave company leaders the opportunity to express their appreciation for the consistency and care the subcontractors bring to every job. From navigating tight deadlines to maintaining clean, safe job sites, the installation team is critical to shaping the customer’s experience. Their clear communication, ability to anticipate challenges, and to precisely execute a project reflects the professionalism that has set a standard across the industry.

Beyond recognition and appreciation (and a few highly-prized raffle gifts!) the evening was an opportunity for connection. Installers, project managers, and team members gathered to share stories, reflect on the year, and reinforce the shared commitment to quality and customer care that defines Pella’s work. It was a reminder that strong partnerships are built not only through the projects completed, but through mutual respect and shared professional values.

The event was planned by Pella’s field managers Mike Macuso, Dustin Floyd, Andy Grzebielski, Jose Maldonado, Mahlon Bowling, Jake Donner, and Aaron Palensky, who work closely with installers every day and see firsthand the care they bring to each project.

Pella’s success is rooted not just in the products we sell and install, but in the people who represent us every day.

Pella’s annual subcontractor dinner is a reflection of genuine gratitude for the teams who uphold our standards in every home and every job site. And as we look ahead to another year, one thing remains clear: Hard work will never go unnoticed. Not by us, and not by the customers who count on us.
