At Pella of Omaha & Lincoln, giving back to our community is at the heart of what we do. When one of our field managers, Mike Mancuso, approached our owner, Greg Boulay, about a friend battling cancer who wanted to get his home in order for his family, Greg didn’t hesitate. Before Mike even finished explaining the situation, Greg immediately committed Pella of Omaha & Lincoln to the project, telling him to “gather the troops” and make it happen.

The homeowner, an Omaha firefighter, has spent his career giving back to his community every day he went to work. It was our turn to return the favor and support his family in their time of need. Thanks to the generosity of our team and partners, we were able to completely transform the family’s home by donating and installing new Pella 250 Series vinyl windows, two 250 Series vinyl sliding patio doors, and Impervia casement windows. Our expert installation partners—E-Squared, Construct Visions, Ruhlman Eilers, Watson Works, LBE, and DHI—selflessly contributed their time, labor, and expertise to make this happen. The results were incredible, with the new windows and doors complementing the home’s recent updates, including new siding, fresh paint, and a new roof. The transformation left the family ecstatic, with the wife so thrilled she didn’t even want to put the curtains back up, saying everything looked too good to cover up.
