Updating a 1958 College View Home with Pella 250 Series Vinyl Windows

Project Story

This 1958 mid-century ranch home in Lincoln’s College View neighborhood received a thoughtful update with new Pella 250 Series vinyl windows and a new fiberglass entry door. Don Fellows served as the sales representative, helping the homeowners select products that fit the home’s style and needs. The living room and primary bedroom windows feature Low-E SunDefense™ insulating glass, argon gas, almond finishes, and traditional grilles between the glass, showing that vinyl windows can still offer a polished, attractive look while improving comfort and performance.

To complete the project, the homeowners also chose a new fiberglass entry door and storm door, creating a cohesive update across the front of the home. The installation was completed by Ruhlman Eilers Construction, one of Pella Omaha & Lincoln’s Expert Installer crews, whose careful workmanship helped deliver a clean, professional result from start to finish.

Homeowner Feedback

“We wanted to make sure you knew how AWESOME the installer crew was. They were courteous and professional. They even vacuumed when they were done—and my wife can’t even get me to do that! I’ve been in construction for over 40 years and am extremely pleased with both the installation and the quality of the product.”
