St. Patrick’s Catholic Church Window and Door Project in Elkhorn, NE

Project Story

St. Patrick’s Catholic Church needed a new campus that could support its growing Elkhorn parish while honoring more than 150 years of history. Designed by RDG Planning & Design and built by MCL Construction, the 61,127-square-foot campus includes a 1,300-seat church, a chapel, parish hall, administrative offices and outdoor gathering areas. The architecture draws inspiration from early Irish churches, pairing extensive stonework with distinctive towers and carefully placed windows throughout the campus.

Pella Windows & Doors of Omaha and Lincoln supplied aluminum-clad wood window and door solutions for the project, including traditional rectangular openings, tall stacked window configurations and specialty windows incorporated into prominent architectural features. The dark exterior frames provide a refined contrast against the stone façade while the varied window sizes help introduce natural light throughout the worship, gathering and administrative spaces. From product coordination through installation, the project required careful attention to the building’s custom openings and architectural details.

Completed in 2025, the new campus gives St. Patrick’s additional room to worship, gather and serve the surrounding community. The windows support that larger vision by connecting the interior spaces with natural light while complementing the timeless materials and Irish-inspired character of the building.
