Pella of Omaha Supports Baldwin Court Townhomes with Habitat for Humanity of Council Bluffs

Project Story

Pella of Omaha is proud to have partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Council Bluffs on the groundbreaking Baldwin Court development, located at the corner of First Avenue and South Eighth Street in downtown Council Bluffs. This new community will feature 12 affordable townhomes—each spanning approximately 1,755 sq ft—with four bedrooms, two full baths, and a single-car garage, offering hopeful families the opportunity to build strength and stability through homeownership. Set to transform a once-underutilized urban corner, the first six homes are already underway following a transformative grant from the Iowa Finance Authority.

Pella’s Contribution & Ongoing Partnership
The project features Pella’s reliable and energy-efficient 250 Series vinyl sliding and picture windows, specially selected to enhance both function and aesthetic appeal in these townhomes. Local Pella representative Mike York was instrumental in collaborating with Habitat for Humanity to bring this vision to life. This initiative underscores our longstanding dedication to community-focused collaborations—building on past joint efforts with Habitat for Humanity and reinforcing Pella’s commitment to supporting affordable housing. Together, we continue turning dreams into doorsteps.
