Lincoln Terminal Building Restoration: Historic Windows & Modern Luxury in Lincoln, NE

Pella of Omaha and Lincoln was proud to be a part of the recent renovation of the historic Terminal Building at 10th & O Street in downtown Lincoln. Partnering with NGC Group Inc., the builder behind the project, Pella played a key role in helping transform the 10-story, 108,000-square-foot landmark into a mix of modern luxury condominiums with retail space on the first floor. To preserve the architectural character of the building while enhancing functionality for residents, Pella installed monumental double-hung windows throughout the condo units, ensuring that the new spaces not only met today’s performance standards but also honored the historic aesthetic of the property.
For this project, Pella utilized its premium Pella Reserve product line, chosen specifically to maintain the traditional appearance of the original commercial structure while providing modern comfort and energy efficiency. With 25 new condo units spread across the upper floors, the window installations were a vital element in creating bright, welcoming living spaces that blend contemporary living with the building’s historic charm. Local Pella sales representative Steve Lanik worked closely with the project team, and the expert installation was performed by JCC Jurgens Construction, ensuring precision and quality throughout the process. The result is a successful balance of preservation and innovation, where Pella’s craftsmanship and trusted installation support both the beauty and long-term value of this iconic Lincoln property.
