The U.S. 2011 Energy Tax Credit

Beginning January 1, 2011 through December 31, 2011, you can replace your home’s old windows and doors with select Pella® windows and doors that may qualify for a tax credit between $200.00 - 500.00 on your 2011 federal income tax return.1

An amendment to the U.S. economic stimulus bill signed by President Obama continues the tax credit into 2011 for window and door models that are ENERGY STAR® qualified.

Eligible window and door replacement products that qualify for ENERGY STAR.

Retain your NFRC label from each product along with sales receipt for tax credit verification and preparation. The NFRC label shows that the energy efficiency of the window or door meets or exceeds tax credit eligibility requirements.

Click Here to download and print the Pella Manufacturer’s Certification Statement for your records. This statement verifies your Pella windows and doors may be eligible for the tax credit.

The qualified Pella products must be installed in the taxpayer-owned principal residence after January 1, 2011 and before December 31, 2011.

NOTE: The credit only applies on the price of the qualified windows and doors themselves and excludes installation costs, onsite preparation, assembly or sales tax. Since qualifying Pella wood clad products offer factory-prefinishing, the cost of this feature is eligible for the credit.
